Your master files drive everything – from delivery to agents to multiple online systems to fully-branded hard drives. They’re your files and you’ll control them. They won’t go anywhere you won’t want them to.
Once you’ve uploaded your master files, any of your users (be it an agent or music client) can then download files in all the popular formats – in whatever bit rates you tell us they need. If needed, we can instantly add new file format options too. Content is always distributed with your latest metadata – which is always controlled by you.
We’re more than happy to build all the extra services you need – including full-scale & customized online systems and/or hard drive solutions. But, if you’re thinking really different, then we’re also happy for you to work with your own team of developers. We’ll store your master music files and you can still dip into any Harvest service that you like. But you can also benefit from our open framework and web services platform. This means that your own developers can use your existing Harvest data as the building blocks for something like your own online search system, apps or widgets. You could even trick up your existing website. Let your ideas run wild.
Once your master files are on the Harvest servers then you can look at how you want to use those files. That could be anything from a simple agent delivery system for new albums, to one of our pre-made online or hard drive systems – to a hand-made online or hard drive solution that we can build for you. It really is up to you. Grab as much or as little as you like.
We’re all about standards. If you’re a library, this means that music is getting to all your agents in a consistent and familiar way. For agents, your life gets easy as multiple libraries can now deliver to you via the one platform – with the same music and data standards used by all. Your clients will love it too.
There are currently more than 50 agents and libraries on the Harvest platform and this is growing all the time. The more users we have the better we can all interact. And that’s got to be good for everyone.
